Draughtsman
Location: Sandwell (easily commutable from surrounding areas) Salary: Highly competitive, with optional overtime at enhanced rates
We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Draughtsman to join a highly successful, family-owned steel fabrication company near Sandwell.
This is a full-time, office-based role with a secure employer offering an excellent salary, a friendly environment, and optional overtime for those looking to increase their earnings.
The Role: Create 3D CAD models using Tekla or StruCAD from engineering/GA drawings, focusing on steel frame buildings (primarily portal frames). Produce detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, BOMs, and erection drawings. Raise RFIs/TQs when additional information is required.
What we're looking for: Proven experience as a Draughtsman on steel-framed buildings. Proficiency in Tekla or StruCAD software (essential). A meticulous eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality work. Eligibility to work in the UK on a permanent basis. Reside within commuting distance of Sandwell (this is a full-time, office-based role).
