Job Title:
Tekla Draughtsman
The Role I am recruiting for an experienced Tekla Draughtsman to join my client's growing team. This role is suited to candidates with strong experience in steelwork and proficiency in using Tekla Structures. You will be responsible for carrying out all duties typically associated with a draughtsman role, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities Produce detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures for both structural and architectural steelwork. Create all necessary fabrication drawings, including general arrangements and detail drawings. Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other project documentation as required. Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet client specifications. Assist in resolving design and fabrication issues during the project lifecycle. Ensure all work complies with company and industry standards.
Requirements Proven experience working as a Draughtsman in the steelwork industry. Expertise in using Tekla Structures software. Strong understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
