Driver/Fleet Manager

to oversee our team of drivers and fleet of vehicles. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, drivers are compliant and well-trained, and our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. This is a key position that supports the growth and success of our business. Key Responsibilities

Driver Management

Oversee and maintain all driver documentation, ensuring compliance with licensing and company policies. Schedule and conduct regular driver meetings to address updates, feedback, and operational requirements. Arrange and deliver driver training sessions, ensuring all drivers meet safety and quality service standards. Perform spot checks on drivers to ensure adherence to company protocols, vehicle cleanliness, and customer service excellence. Manage the recruitment, on-boarding, and retention of drivers to support the company’s growth plans. Fleet Management

Manage a small fleet of vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are well-maintained, roadworthy, and meet licensing requirements. Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs in line with schedules. Ensure all vehicles are properly insured, licensed, and comply with local regulations. Monitor and address any vehicle-related issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. Compliance and Reporting

Ensure all operations comply with regulatory and company standards for safety and licensing. Maintain accurate records for drivers, vehicles, and operational processes. Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding fleet performance, driver updates, and operational metrics. Skills and Qualifications

Essential

Proven experience in fleet management, driver supervision, or a similar role. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements and licensing regulations. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable

Experience in the private hire or transportation industry. Proficiency in using fleet management software or tools. Valid driver’s license (required).
