Due to business demand and as part of our ambitious growth plans, we now require a Senior Consultant who wants to progress with BARR Personnel. The ideal candidate will need to have a positive and proactive approach and the ability to manage a successful team. You'll be based in our Ipswich town centre office to start off with and will manage your Account Coordinator/Resourcers, once you have built your desk up.
This role will also involve business development as a recruitment consultant and the opportunity to engage with both the client market while managing, controlling, and providing exceptional service to a large network of candidates.
You will be responsible for establishing new clients and developing existing clients. Generate opportunities for candidates and provide guidance and support to clients on their hiring strategies. Establish excellent customer relationships and ensure all our candidates have a great professional experience working with us.
This is an exciting and externally facing role; while it will be financially rewarding, it demands a strong and industrious work ethic.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a good knowledge and awareness in the Recruitment Industry Have a successful track record of success in previous recruitment roles Be a self-motivated / autonomous individual Demonstrate recruitment consultancy and people management experience Be able to manage and build relationships with internal staff and clients Have excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills Be confident in managing and leading a successful team Have the ability to focus and prioritize and have strong self-motivation Be forthright, driven, and a self-starter and finisher Have a good academic track record Possess excellent IT skills
