Key Skills Required for This Role: DSP Signal Processing Software Development RF Algorithms Software Defined Radio THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced software engineer with a strong background in signal processing and/or numerical simulation to join our client in Great Chesterford, UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing simulation frameworks and signal processing chains to support the development of novel products and services, ranging from radar systems through to sensors for autonomous platforms. ESSENTIAL SKILLS BEng/BSc/MSci or preferably PhD in one of computer science, physics, electronics or similar. 3+ years post-graduate experience in designing and developing software. C/C++ development. Python or Matlab. Signal Processing, including timeseries signal analysis or image processing, Software Defined Radio. DESIRABLE SKILLS Numerical simulation methods, such as Monte-Carlo, Finite Difference time domain. Machine learning algorithms. Knowledge of radar, sonar, inertial, or other sensor systems. Knowledge of wireless communication protocols. Experience in developing cloud-based services (in particular AWS). Developing software for embedded systems and microcontrollers. BENEFITS Company Bonus Scheme: Paid annually based on a percentage of your salary, conditional on performance against annual company targets.
