Job Title: Dual Registered Manager Location: Near Preston, Lancashire Salary: £60,000 + £10,000 additional performance-based bonus About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Manager to oversee two well-established 3-bedded EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children's homes near Preston. As the Dual Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring these homes provide high-quality care and support to young people aged 8-18, many of whom have complex needs and experiences with emotional and behavioural challenges. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual with a proven record of achieving Good or Outstanding ratings with Ofsted looking for development. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day management of two 3-bedded EBD homes, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards.- Provide leadership and support to staff teams, fostering a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for young people.- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and aligned with the organisations mission and values.- Implement and uphold safeguarding practices to promote the welfare of all children and young people in your care.- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including social workers, local authorities, and families.- Develop and deliver individual care plans tailored to each young person’s needs, promoting positive outcomes and personal growth.- Lead inspections and ensure each home consistently meets or exceeds regulatory expectations, with a focus on achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings. Qualifications and Experience: - Must be an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record in EBD settings.- Demonstrated success in achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children’s residential care standards.- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop staff teams.- Commitment to providing high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
