A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy based in the South West of England are now seeking to take on a Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be responsible for carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical duties for a mixed portfolio of sites, including but not limited to: management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys and conducting 4 stage clearances. The successful candidate will be well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines and will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 qualifications
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bristol, Trowbridge, Shelton Mallet, Ilminster, Yeovil, Bridgewater, Minehead, Taunton, Weston-Super-Mare, Chippenham, Marlborough, Devizes, Warminster, Sailsbury, Andover, Stroud, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Monmouth, Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Port Talbot, Swansea.
Experience & Qualifications: " Holding industry relevant qualifications is essential to the role e.g., BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent. " Experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical services. " Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems. " Excellent organisational skills. " Keen eye for detail.
The Role: " Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys. " Conducting 4 stage clearances. " Auditing contractors on site in line with company needs. " Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work. " Leak, smoke, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing. " Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs on site. " Safely bagging and correctly labelling ACMs prior to sending for analysis. " Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines. " Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports.
