This role will involve providing support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs in a very supportive and inclusive mainstream school. This will be a temporary appointment, in the first instance, to the specialist teaching provision for children with ASD.

The Headteacher and Governors at Dunvant Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for

27.5 hours

a week.

The successful candidates will: Be enthusiastic, motivated individuals, passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs. Be committed to inclusive education for all pupils. Have very good communication skills with both adults and children. Have the relevant qualifications and experience in a school setting.

The successful candidates will be able to: Work with the class teacher to appropriately support pupils with additional learning needs. Implement programmes under the guidance and direction of professionals. Work as part of our staff team to deliver effective person-centred provision.
