This is your chance to become part of a prestigious project, working as a Durability and Robustness Programme Leader, where your role is to ensure all customer expectations for Durability & Robustness are met with appropriate target setting, design development and completion of whole vehicle verification activities using both virtual and physical test methods. What You Will Do: Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved Provide detailed strategy & delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests & driven vehicle DV activities Work with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level target Work with component engineers and suppliers as required to drive resolution of engineering issues Deliver technical recommendations and test and issue status reports Work on tasks to ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured and fed back to the Programme Attribute Team and progressed as necessary What You Will Bring: Knowledge / experience of Engineering test activities Knowledge / experience of automotive technologies or systems Project Management experience Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies Understanding of Durability & Strength principles Project management of complex engineering test activities Experience of problem-solving including application of Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DoE etc. Understanding of Systems, Engineering Principles and delivery Microsoft package elements Power Point and Excel Desirable Attributes: Knowledge / experience of AGILE working principles Working knowledge CAD visualisation systems (e.g. 3Dx, TeamCentre etc.) Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experience Relevant Degree or equivalent experience preferred This role is not just about technical expertise; it's about pushing the boundaries of what's possible, contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.
