Join Our Team as a Duty Fleet Control Manager within our Engineering Department at Romford ROC. The Role The Duty Fleet Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance of the Fleet Control Team to ensure high productivity levels and operational excellence. This role involves providing leadership and guidance to the ROC's Fleet Control Team and the Train Maintenance Provider (TMP), with a focus on enhancing fleet performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Performance Management : Manage and monitor the performance of the Fleet Control Team. Set specified objectives and goals to drive high performance and work outputs. Conduct appraisals and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. Operational Leadership : Provide shift leadership and guidance to the Fleet Control Team and TMP. Implement and uphold established procedures to ensure reliability and effectiveness. Performance Optimisation : Reduce Delay Minutes, Cancellations, and deviations from Target Fix Time, and Cut-and-Run incidents. Enhance DST (Decision Support Tool) utilisation to improve operational efficiency. Maintenance Oversight : Ensure maintenance and servicing activities for all trains are planned and executed according to agreed-upon schedules. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to maintenance standards and protocols. Incident Management : Assume the role of Fleet Incident Lead, providing detailed and accurate real-time information during a unit failure and ensure all information related to service disruptions is accessible and documented post-incident. Analyse incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
