We are seeking a highly skilled
Lead Specialist in Microbiology and Infection Control
to join our team at Lead Discovery GmbH. The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience. About the Role:
To lead and manage teams of pharmacists and other healthcare professionals ensuring effective antimicrobial stewardship across the Trust. To develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures related to antimicrobial use and infection control. To collaborate with clinicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to optimize antimicrobial prescribing and reduce antibiotic resistance. To provide education and training to healthcare professionals on antimicrobial stewardship and infection control best practices. To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based guidelines and protocols. Requirements:
You must be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have hospital and ward-based clinical experience. You should work within codes of practice and professional guidelines and be able to communicate health issues effectively. Additionally, you must live in the UK, have effective communication skills, an excellent attendance record, and be able to work under pressure. A minimum of 6 months previous work experience within an acute healthcare setting and the ability to provide 2 professional references are also required.
