We’re looking for a Retoucher to join the studio team and work collaboratively across the businesses with multiple teams to enable the successful post-production of E-commerce content images. What will you do as an E-commerce Retoucher?

Retouch images from capture through to delivery to agreed timelines. Perform image editing of photography to the highest standards, adhering to quality control guidelines. Work across various image styles and categories to meet non-negotiable E-commerce upload targets. Retouch a high volume of images to include batch processing, resizing, colour matching, and cropping. Demonstrate clear brand understanding and deliver consistent, quality work to specification. Accurately follow detailed retouching notes and feedback provided by the Retouching manager. Handle multiple comps and perform alterations to images. Support the Retouch manager with production processes and day-to-day retouch operations. Maintain and organise personal retouch workload and checklist priorities. Ensure the Retouch manager is kept up to date with your workload and made aware of any issues that are likely to cause delays. Confidently demonstrate retouching across invisible mannequins, models, products, and jewellery. Image editing and colour check/match images with garments/products ensuring consistent colour accuracy. Work closely with the senior team to proactively deliver consistent post-production output for all business requirements including ecommerce product photography. Lead on retouching for creative projects through all phases of the production cycle. Check that digital assets adhere to asset naming conventions. Monitor consistency of colour correction across image collections ensuring final assets are true and accurately represent the product. Ensure images are retouched to a high creative standard, delivered on time. Develop freelance talent, ensuring the team is upskilled to the business needs and recognising gaps in skillset. What will you need to succeed as an E-commerce Retoucher?

5 years’ experience within the retouch/editing field and a strong portfolio of ecommerce and creative work. Excellent Photoshop knowledge and a strong understanding of colour spaces and Mac systems. A comprehensive knowledge of post-production workflows, colour management, and technical specifications for digital and print. Experience working with third-party agencies is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Advanced knowledge of retouching specifically on still life, mannequin, and model. Composite retouch experience. Interest in and video experience isn’t essential but a bonus. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Problem-solving and decision-making skills – Solution-focused. Ability to multitask, manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. The capability to perform under pressure. Experience in a fast-paced ecommerce setting. What will we offer you in return?
