Early Intervention in Psychosis Service Mental Health Practitioner (RMN, SW, OT) We are hiring for 2 full-time positions (2 FTE). We are seeking two passionate and creative clinicians to join our friendly and experienced team. The role of the Early Intervention Service MH Practitioner is to work in partnership with First Episode of Psychosis (FEP) service users wrapping care and treatment around hope and aspirations informing their care and recovery plans. To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively in the assessment and planning of care and support to individuals experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis and manage a caseload. The postholder will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist
with a sound background of working in a community mental health setting, of working flexibly and promoting the safety and the wellbeing of service users and their families/carers. They will have an understanding of the evidence-based clinical interventions for this particular care group – including psycho-education, physical health and wellbeing support and risk minimisation planning. Specialist knowledge of mental health disorders as well as their relationship to physical disorders Mental health issues within diverse communities The Early Intervention in Psychosis model, ethos and practice Safeguarding policies and procedure Evidence-based interventions for First Episode Psychosis including psychological treatments Care Programme Approach principles Understand the principles of recovery and their application to risk management, positive risk taking and strength-based approaches to care delivery.
