The vision of Kinderland Day Nursery is to provide an environment where children are happy, stimulated, safe and healthy. We have a lovely building and fantastic resources but truly believe that our staff are the best resource and make the biggest difference in our children's lives! We are looking for a fun, kind and caring Early Years Assistant who has a real passion for the children to join our lovely, well-established private day nursery. If that's you we would love to hear from you! We are based in South Croydon, Greater London and are a family run Nursery that has been open since 1995. As an Early Years Assistant your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Developing and maintaining professional relationships with parents and carers Supporting children with their individual personal hygiene needs Providing effective and regular feedback to parents on their child’s day, personal development and any other relevant information Ensuring a bright and stimulating attractive room with colourful appropriate activities and displays showing children’s work Assisting with care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys within the nursery Supervising children at all times indoors and outdoors including mealtimes and snack breaks If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career in child care or even a complete career change, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. All applicants should be aware that a huge part of the role is ensuring children are continuously safeguarded from any harm. Any job offers will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, thorough referencing, an induction programme, and 3 months’ probation period. All successful candidates will be given lots of training upon starting their role.
