We are seeking to employ a permanent Early Years Childcare Practitioner who is friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This post will require you to work in our Preschool Classroom which caters for children from the ages of 9 months to 3 years old and will commence as soon as possible. We are always looking to develop practitioners' continuous professional development here at Frizington Nursery School and welcome applications from level 2 upwards. We will support practitioners in their next stage of development. PCD3 £24,027 (A) pro rata for a level 2 position - PCD5 £25,183 pro rata for a level 3 position. This post is for a full year position; however, we would consider term-time only for the right candidate. 25 hours per week; overtime may be available, however we will consider applications for part-time hours of 16+. The suitable candidate must have: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English The successful candidate must also be able to: Work constructively as part of a team Liaise effectively with staff and parents Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional development Demonstrate their experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage Have excellent communication skills Frizington Nursery School & Preschool can offer: A vibrant and welcoming environment with enthusiastic children who love to learn Commitment to professional development Hard-working, welcoming, and dedicated team of Staff and Governors Frizington Nursery School & Preschool is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
