Located on station at MOD Worthy Down, we are proud to serve military personnel, families, and the local community by providing experiences that are special, unique, and child-focused. We put parents’ priorities and children’s development front of mind, ensuring we work together to understand individual needs and requirements. We provide government-funded places for two, three, and four-year-olds. Our apprentices stay with us as Level 3 practitioners. Every day is different in a RAFAKidz nursery, and you will have the opportunity to share and grow your skills working with our children, colleagues, and families. At RAFAKidz, there is a friendly, passionate, and experienced team to support you, along with access to high-quality training. Main Purpose of the Role:

To work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of learning, development, and care for children aged 0-5 years. To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff, and others. To support the development of partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development. To maintain records that fulfil Ofsted requirements as laid out in the EYFS. Ensure the safeguarding of children and staff. Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. RAFAKidz will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes: Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours. Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator. Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid. Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required). This will be delivered through RAFAKidz’s dedicated training provider, Realise. Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Shifts TBC.
