Northern Skills are recruiting on behalf of Learning Tree Nursery for a Level 3 Early Years Educator. To support the teaching and learning to individuals and/or groups of pupils in the learning environment. Working within a set of clear guidelines and instructions, and under the direct supervision of a teacher.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:30. 4 day working week - day release at college.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you’ll do at work
Operate a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children in your area in conjunction with other team members. Keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share this with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child’s life. Follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well, and secure. Support all staff and engage in a good staff team. Liaise with and support parents and other family members. Be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g., training, monthly staff meetings, parent evenings, fundraising events, etc. Be flexible within working practices of the nursery. Help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g., preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc. Where you’ll work

Analyse observation evidence to assess and plan holistic individual learning based on a comprehensive understanding of the child’s needs and interests.
