Almozene Nursery and Children's Centre offers childcare provision for ages 0-8 years. The centre provides high-quality childcare in an inspiring family environment, utilizing inside and outside spaces for exploration and development, and visiting local farms to extend children's knowledge and understanding of the world. Coordinating high-quality education to ensure positive outcomes for children. Providing the highest standards of support, assisting children in achieving their maximum potential and independence. Maintaining, monitoring, and further developing good teaching practices to ensure the highest possible quality of teaching and learning that meets statutory requirements while maintaining a supportive atmosphere, ensuring the safety, protection, and well-being of each child. Ensuring the highest possible standards of education – socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and aesthetically. Working alongside an EYFS team by establishing clear expectations and constructive working relationships, promoting good teamwork and mutual support, delegating tasks where appropriate, evaluating practices and development, and motivating assistants in delivering quality teaching and learning. Creating and developing policies and programmes to meet the needs of all children. Developing best practices in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Ensuring good progress in all areas of the EYFS stage. Playing a positive leading role in the general life of the setting, including special events, book week, visits, and off-site activities. Welcoming parents and ensuring they understand setting policies, promoting good communication with parents through phone calls, meetings, newsletters, chat book information, and displays. Ensuring good transitions for children into their next setting/school. Actively promoting equal opportunities for all pupils in the EYFS. What will you need to succeed in this role?

Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C would be desirable. L2 EY qualification or relevant knowledge and experience is essential. Skills required

Initiative Physical fitness Training to be Provided

You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship. As you progress, your duties and responsibilities will change as you develop skills for a successful career in childcare. Training will be a mix of face-to-face and online learning. You will gain an early years practitioner qualification with further opportunities for training, development, and permanent employment upon completion. Functional Skills in Maths and English will be provided if required. Things to consider

Hours per week are 25 - 30 hours, Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6pm. Future Prospects
