Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Practitioner We currently have an opportunity for 2 people to join our team at our children’s day nursery and preschool in Banstead, Surrey. Successful candidates can either be Level 2 or Level 3 qualified. We can also consider someone who is Level 3 qualified and looking to become a Senior Practitioner (working towards room lead) with additional training and qualifications available if required. Main responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Practitioner: Provide a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence, and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children’s needs. Have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning. Ensure a safe, secure, and caring environment for the well-being of the children. Assist the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day-to-day high-quality childcare. The ideal candidate will: Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play, and be safe. Have previous experience working with children under the age of five. Be qualified to Level 2, 3, or equivalent in childcare (desirable). Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS – Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable).
