Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our lovely team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing learning opportunities to promote all children's development through engaging activities and experiences, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This position is for individuals who have a genuine love for working with children and are committed to supporting their early learning journey. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs of children. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of early years education within the setting. Skills Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development within a nursery environment. Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on individual children's needs.
