Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, helping them develop essential skills through play and structured activities. This role will also cover caring for children aged 3 to 11 during After School Club and Holiday Club. Duties Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children. Foster a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner, encouraging cooperation and respect among children. Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education. Maintain accurate records of children's achievements and milestones. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience within the preschool setting. Care for and motivate older children during our very busy After School Club and Holiday Club. Requirements A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential. Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. The ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development through play-based learning.
