Shepherds Bush, West London, W12 9NX We have a very exciting opportunity for a full time, qualified level 2 or 3+ Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Goldhawk Road Day Nursery and Preschool situated in Shepherds Bush. Our beautiful Goldhawk Road Nursery is a new build and boasts being a light, airy building with a large staff room and well being room for staff. There are lots of endless opportunities to progress your career. The nursery is a stunning 86 place setting in a beautifully converted town house, which will feature spacious rooms and 3 separate garden areas, perfect for plenty of outdoor teaching and learning! It has great public transport links, being only a short walk from the Goldhawk Road underground station (on the circle and Hammersmith and City lines) and Ravenscourt Park underground station (On the district line), a 15 minute walk from Shepherds Bush (on the central line underground and overground station) as well as onsite parking. Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis What we’re looking for: Full and Relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification (essential) Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar) Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children Bright Horizons are committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.
