Come and join the team! We need a special someone to join our NEW Out of School Club Team in Stirling. We are opening our out of school club in summer 2024. The out of school club will operate from 7am to 9am and then 2pm to 6pm daily. The holiday clubs run between 7am and 6pm. We would like that special someone to have a sense of humour, to be patient, and to love the outdoors as much as we do. The setting is in Stirling and there is a large outdoor area with lots of space, trees, and outdoor fun. There will also be trips and outings in our minibus which you will arrange and supervise. You must have experience working within an Out of School provision or a School Holiday Club. A clean driving licence would be great but is not essential. The candidate must be qualified to SVQ3 level or above and be confident and cheerful. Experience of working within an out of school environment or with younger youths is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, strive to ensure children receive the best possible care, and be able to plan safe, fun activities with the children that further their interests. Evidence of registration with the SSSC is required or can be applied for. You must also secure an appropriate PVG check with fees paid by the setting. The hours would either be: 7am-9.30am then 2pm to 6pm on Monday to Friday during term time (hours can be flexible from part time to full time) 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday during school holidays (3-4 days working to accommodate hours contracted) Please do not apply unless you are available to work during school holidays and are a minimum SVQ3/HNC qualified. We offer the successful candidate: £11.44 per hour minimum 28 days annual leave pro rata Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: From £11.44 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: A-Level or equivalent (preferred) Experience: Out of school club: 1 year (preferred) Childcare: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Reference ID: Kidzworld Out of School Club Stirling Expected start date: 01/03/2025
