Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse / Deputy Room Leader - Twickenham
Salary: £27,500 per year for practitioners or £29,000 for experienced candidates suitable for the deputy room leader role.
Full Time - 8 hour days.
A great opportunity to join a fantastic team at a nursery school in Twickenham, London. The school caters for children from 18 months to 5 years old and is open 51 weeks of the year. The nursery has a big focus on outdoor learning and regular trips off-site to our local community.
Job Description:
Promoting positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues. Working well with the team. Innovating with activities and constantly challenging children's learning and development. Working effectively and cooperatively alongside our tight-knit team. Ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing of the children at all times. Supporting the team in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS and our Nursery Philosophy. Working on a shift pattern Monday to Friday.
We also offer: 35 days holiday a year (including bank holidays, and nursery closure between Christmas and New Year). Paid training including 2 inset days per year. Funded Level 3 training for staff who show aptitude and commitment to the role. 5 days full sick pay.
Successful applicants will: Be passionate about education and changing children's lives. Have an Early Years Level 3 qualification, or equivalent. Have previous experience working with children. Have a positive outlook (someone who always sees the glass as half full).
The wellbeing of our children is our number one priority, so successful candidates will be subject to the relevant police DBS checks.
