Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner?

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly team at a well-established nursery school in Washington.

About the Role: This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January 2024 and running until the end of the academic year. You will be responsible for a small group of children as their key worker, building strong relationships with children, supporting their learning, and creating a safe and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will have a child-centered approach to education and be able to hit the ground running, ensuring children's needs are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

Work with a key worker group to monitor, support, and track children's progress. Plan and implement engaging, child-led activities that support children's development across all areas of the EYFS with the support of the EYFS team. Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Be proactive in creating a stimulating, inclusive, and caring environment.

About You:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent). Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting, including experience of managing a key worker group. A child-centered approach to education, with a strong commitment to supporting children's development. The ability to work well as part of a team and independently. Passionate about providing the best possible start in life for children.
