Early Years Specialist Teaching Assistant

Flexible work to fit around your lifestyle 2-5 days of work available per week Part-time and full-time contracts Temporary to Permanent contracts Working hours 8:30am - 3:30pm Kirklees, Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield Primary schools Working across Nursery, Early Years, Key Stage 1. NextGen Teachers are currently in the process of recruiting a number of Primary Teaching Assistants who can support our schools in their EYFS and KS1 settings. Our Primary schools based in Kirklees, Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield are in need of early years teaching assistants to support pupils during lessons, to help encourage development in reading, writing and phonics, as well as maths and other aspects such as social and emotional development. The successful classroom assistant will support the class teacher in delivering lessons as whole class and small group interventions, and also support students with additional needs such as SEN, improving fine motor skills, outdoor learning, and play-based learning. We are looking for candidates who have experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant/Classroom Assistant, have a Level 3 Qualification in Teaching and Learning, are confident in supporting in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, and possess good behaviour management skills. Our schools are based in: Cleckheaton, Birkenshaw, Gomersal, Driglington, Leeds central, Hunslet, Armley, Guiseley, Yeadon, Garforth, Sherburn In Elmet, Roundhay and Central Bradford (Inner ring road).
