EYFS Educator - ASAP Start
Level 3 or Degree Required
One of the top primary schools in Henley-on-Thames is searching for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in an inclusive and high-performing primary school to develop your classroom experience before completing your teacher training. The Head Teacher is looking for a pro-active and personable graduate teaching assistant with an excellent academic background. The teaching assistant will be supporting the EYFS classes, so they are looking for an EYFS specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
General classroom support, helping the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery. Assisting children with their learning, focusing on numeracy and literacy. Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support, especially in reading. Participating in extra-curricular activities.
Qualifications: Education to a degree level is required; ideally, a strong academic background with a 2:2 or above. Previous experience working with children is required, whether in a similar role or in a different setting such as tutoring. A minimum of a C in GCSE Maths and English.
