Are you passionate about working with young children and supporting their learning and development? We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a warm and welcoming primary school in Ipswich.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering a love for learning and supporting our young learners to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning activities for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Assist with the day-to-day care and well-being of children, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. Work with small groups or individual children to support their learning and development. Encourage children to develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development. Help maintain and organise classroom resources and materials. Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and engage in regular professional development.

The Ideal Candidate: A passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journey. Experience working in an Early Years or primary school setting (desirable but not essential). A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. A caring and patient approach with a positive attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent) are desirable but not required.
