Level 3 Early Years Practitioner/Teaching Assistant

to join our vibrant primary school in Wellingborough.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a positive, stimulating, and safe environment where children can thrive. You will work closely with the Early Years team to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Support the development of children's social, emotional, and educational needs. Monitor and record children's progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing updates with parents/carers. Promote inclusive practice, catering to the needs of children with SEND or additional needs. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure a smooth transition for children moving into Key Stage 1. Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

What We're Looking For:

A

Level 3 Early Years qualification

(e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent). Proven experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally in a school environment. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children. Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
