Beeston, Nottingham £400-£600 per week (dependent on experience) About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Beeston, Nottingham. This is a full-time maternity cover position working in the nursery setting, starting from 24th February 2025. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the development and learning of nursery-aged children, helping to create an engaging and nurturing environment that promotes their educational, social, and emotional growth. Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and delivery of early years curriculum activities Assist with children’s personal, social, and emotional development Maintain accurate observations and assessment records Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create stimulating learning environments Support children with additional needs, including those with SEND Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times Person Specification

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable) Previous experience working in early years settings (desirable) SEND experience (desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach Strong understanding of child development Commitment to safeguarding and child protection What We Offer
