Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement

Working hours: Part-time, 20.5 per week

Unique School Solutions is supporting a Primary School in the S61 area of Rotherham to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years and Foundation. The role will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher. The school has high levels of students with English as an additional language and is seeking someone with previous Phonics experience. This role is set to start in April 2025 and could lead to a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

Essential requirements for the role:

Previous experience working within a school or similar setting within the last 2 years Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification EYFS curriculum knowledge The ability to build rapport with young learners The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative Phonics experience
