Job Duties:

The Early Years Teaching Assistant will support the lead teacher in delivering high-quality early years education. Duties include assisting with classroom activities, preparing materials, supervising children, and providing individual support to students as needed. Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent. Enhanced DBS check required. Education:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are essential. Additional childcare qualifications are desirable. Experience:

Prior experience working in an early years setting is preferred. Knowledge and Skills:

Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education. First Aid certification. Working Conditions:

The role may involve standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of children or equipment. Working hours are typically during school hours, with some additional preparation and planning time required. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
