Location: Northampton Sue Ryder Ecommerce HQ and Distribution Centre, Barn Way, Lodge Farm Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN5 7UW Please note - we have a minimum age requirement of 18. This is an unpaid role. Area or Department: Retail Employment Type: Voluntary Ref No: EHQ-001-EBV Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters. Join our friendly team as an eBay Photographer and e-Commerce Volunteer at our bustling Northampton warehouse eBay hub! This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience in e-commerce whilst helping us to raise funds for our important charity work. In this role, you will identify and research a range of products that have been donated ready to be listed on the Sue Ryder eBay page to maximise revenue. Whether you could help for a few hours, or even a day or two, contact us to book in for a friendly taster session, where you will learn more about the hub and the volunteer role. The Role – eBay Photographer and e-Commerce Volunteer: Take photographs of items to sell, using our fantastic in-house studio Researching and valuing items Write descriptions for item listings Dispatching sold items About you: Enjoy helping and engaging with people Have an eye for detail, and an interest in researching items Have good photography skills Be competent with IT & a good level of literacy Have the ability to work as part of a team Be reliable Have similar experience using eBay or equivalent Ecommerce platforms How you will benefit: Make new friends Be part of a friendly team Learn new, transferable skills and enhance your CV Flexible working Volunteer discount on donated goods in our shops Travel expenses – we are happy to reimburse reasonable travel expenses for a minimum regular commitment About Sue Ryder: Sue Ryder is one of the largest charity retailers in the UK with nearly 400 shops.
