About us:
At Busy Bees Woodend Early Education Centre, exploring our local Woodend community is something we love to do. It provides so many learning opportunities as children explore the community around them. Excursions also provide great learning about health and safety whilst out and about in the community, seeing new things, meeting new people and developing working theories about the world around us. We offer a well-resourced backyard play area for our tamariki that was completely revamped in 2022!
Role requirements:
An inspirational leader with an innate ability to develop and lead a team to deliver best practice childcare services
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
Demonstrated leadership experience; you will love to coach, mentor and inspire!
Initiative, desire and passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of
Te Whāriki Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels Innovative, resilient, committed, passionate and enthusiastic!
