Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an engineering company specialising in instrumentation and control systems across highly regulated industries to recruit an EC and I Engineer for its Bridgewater office.
The EC and I Design Engineer will play an integral part of the design team, working on some of the largest projects in the UK, and comes with a salary between £30,000 - £40,000, 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays), and a variety of additional benefits.

Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will: Produce designs including block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, wiring schematics and general arrangement drawings utilising AutoCAD. Attend client and sub-contractor meetings. Ability to select correct EC&I equipment. Produce equipment schedule for instrumentation and electrical.
Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Several years experience designing EC&I systems and associated electrical equipment. Understanding and ability to work to BS 7671.
Personal skills The EC and I Engineer role would suit someone who is: Motivated to progress in their career. Self-starter with confidence to work within complex projects.
