Responsibilities:
Collaborating with peers, seniors, and stakeholders of both technical and non-technical roles.
Identifying physical and soft interfaces.
Defining high-level requirements and identifying relevant national and local standards and guides.
Reviewing existing EC&I designs and records.
Production of optioneering, strategy, and design basis documentation.
Supporting Architects in the concept building layout and cable routing.
Understanding nuclear safety, machinery safety, physical security, and cyber security; and how early decision-making will impact future designs.
Inputting into E3D/AVEVA suite of software.
Here's What You'll Need:
Excellent communication and written skills, an inquisitive and questioning attitude, and a self-motivated drive to deliver the best possible solution are more important than experience or knowledge in the technical areas.
As such, our roles are open to all experience levels with a Higher National Cert/Dip minimum qualification in an EC&I related subject, as individuals may be trained within the role under close supervision.
Many of our roles can be flexible on location or have a hybrid working pattern, and we also offer flexible working patterns such as part-time hours or a nine-day fortnight.
