Chorley Working Hours:

4 days a week Mon - Thurs, 9.5 hours per day with hybrid working patterns. Permanent roles available:

at various levels EC&I Engineer, Senior EC&I Engineer and Principal Engineer. We are working with a client at the top of their game, seeking EC&I Engineers at all levels (Engineer through to Principal Engineer) to join their team which is significantly growing due to large projects won in the Nuclear industry. This position is ideal for an experienced EC&I design engineer with a strong background in electrical design, who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. The role will suit someone with excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Those who thrive on project-based work and are comfortable with occasional travel for testing and commissioning would be a great fit. Key Responsibilities:

Produce engineering drawings such as block cable diagrams, schematic diagrams, and cable routing designs. Develop engineering documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals and test documentation. Carry out engineering calculations, including cable and safety instrumented system calculations. Design and develop software for PLC and SCADA control systems. Conduct trials and testing, ensuring all activities adhere to project specifications and safety standards. In return you'll receive a base salary of between £40k - £65k depending upon experience. Nuclear or Defence background essential.
