Our client is seeking an

EC&I Engineering Discipline Lead

to join their dynamic team within the nuclear sector. This role involves overseeing the Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) engineering discipline, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet the required standards and are technically sound throughout the project lifecycle. As the Discipline Lead, you will coordinate with various stakeholders and teams, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Your role will be critical in driving project success through effective management and execution of EC&I engineering activities. Key Responsibilities

Oversee all EC&I engineering activities, ensuring project requirements are met on time and within budget. Lead the EC&I engineering team, providing guidance and support to team members. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation produced by the team. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle. Identify potential engineering risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support business development efforts by providing technical input for bids and proposals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the EC&I discipline. Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess: A relevant degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering. Significant experience (minimum of 10 years) in EC&I engineering, preferably within the nuclear or other highly regulated industries. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor diverse engineering teams. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to EC&I systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and levels. Proficiency in engineering design software and tools. Experience with project management and delivering complex engineering projects within tight deadlines. Ability to obtain and maintain an 'SC' level UK security clearance. Benefits
