EC&I Technician focuses on repair of radiometric and radiation detection equipment.

What the role involves

  • Repair of radiometric and radiation detection equipment.
  • Carry out maintenance, fault finding.
  • Perform testing and commissioning activities on EC&I systems.
  • Diagnose electrical and instrumentation faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety procedures and industry regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, testing, and calibration activities.

Skills and requirements

  • Completion of a Level 3 apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Control & Instrumentation (or closely related discipline).
  • Post-apprenticeship experience working as an Electrical and/or Instrument Technician.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Experience in maintenance and fault diagnosis within an industrial environment.

Confirmed role details

  • Full Time, permanent role - Monday - Friday, 7:30-15:40.
