The Role
We are seeking an Ecologist to join a well-established ecology consultancy. In this position, you will apply your expertise in conducting wildlife surveys, identifying plant species, and using your academic knowledge or extensive field experience in ecology. You'll be using tools such as Kaleidoscope, QGIS, or CorelDRAW to carry out UKHab assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain calculations, and surveys for protected species.

What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should have:

Solid experience in wildlife surveys and plant identification

Knowledge of environmental legislation, planning processes, EIAs, and HRAs
