Ecology Director

Our client is a leading environmental and town planning consultancy in Scotland. The practice is well established and provides a multitude of environmental and related consultancy services to private and public sector clients throughout the country. The business is a prominent player in the renewables sector and has a thriving and growing ecology team. The Requirement Due to continued success within the company’s Inverness office and plans for future growth, the business is looking to recruit a Technical Director that can work alongside a Regional Director in helping to grow the office and manage the team. The Role & Responsibilities Manage the development of the Ecology function across the Inverness and Highlands Region Develop a strategy to grow the discipline Focus and drive the business development effort to win work Work with Directors and Team Leaders across other functions and regions, plan, complete and manage projects raising standards and supporting cross functional sales across the business Work closely with the teams across the business to ensure a ‘one-team’ approach to clients, colleagues and projects The Opportunity Leading environmental consultancy in Scotland A notable and highly respected practice in the renewables sector A significant size ecology team with a proven track record A company with strong finances and stability A people first company that is purpose led A Director level role with visibility and autonomy Flexible working and a very supportive work life balance culture Seniority level
