Ecommerce Coordinator | London | Fashion Retailer | Up to £30k Basic,
A proactive, detail-oriented eCommerce Coordinator is sought to join the team, working across two fashion brands. This role is essential in ensuring that online stores are visually engaging, accurately updated, and optimised to drive sales while enhancing the customer experience. The eCommerce Coordinator will play a key role in managing product uploads, website merchandising, and providing customer service support when required.

This position will report directly to the Head of eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities in the Position of Ecommerce Coordinator Include:

  • Product Management & Website Merchandising
    • Product Uploading: Ensure that all new products are uploaded to the websites in a timely manner, with accurate descriptions, pricing, imagery, and SEO-optimised content.
    • Content Maintenance: Regularly update product information to maintain consistency and accuracy across the websites.
    • Visual Merchandising: Arrange and merchandise products on the websites to create a visually appealing and optimised shopping experience, in line with current trends and promotional strategies.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct routine checks to ensure that website content and functionality align with brand standards, providing a seamless customer journey.
  • Customer Service Support
    • Customer Care Cover: Act as the point of contact for customer inquiries during the absence of the Customer Care Manager, ensuring timely, professional, and effective communication.
    • Feedback Reporting: Log and report recurring customer service issues and insights to the Head of eCommerce to support ongoing improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to support website promotions, seasonal launches, and product campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Assist in monitoring website performance metrics, customer feedback, and sales data to inform merchandising and content strategies.

To be considered for the Position of Ecommerce Coordinator, you will offer the following:

  • 1-2 yearsworking knowledge in eCommerce, digital merchandising, or a related role, ideally within the fashion or retail sector.
  • Proficiency in using eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
  • Strong organisational skills with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring high standards in product information accuracy and visual presentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and handle ad-hoc customer service needs when required.
  • Experience with SEO practices in product descriptions and content.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools to track performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with the fashion industry and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
