About You:

As a core member of the E-Commerce & Trading team, you will be responsible for owning the product upload process as well as assisting with the day-to-day website operations to optimise the website; including banner changes, overseeing promotions and reporting on web performance. We’re looking for a real team player who will gather insight from all the product and merchandising teams and translate that into actionable tactics on-site.

This role would also be suitable for someone currently in an ecommerce/trading assistant role looking to progress and take on more ownership and responsibility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the product upload process, ensuring products are on-site for key trading periods in line with the launch calendar and are optimised
  • Updating and Regularly reviewing the website, ensuring there are no issues with products, pricing, banners etc. Overall to drive user experience and user journey improvements
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure Cart Price and Catalogue Price rules are set up correctly and tested in advance of launch, ensuring a smooth shopping experience with no gaps in customer expectations
  • Work with the buying and merchandising teams to enhance the product journey for our customers
  • Briefing the creative team on banners and other imagery required for the website
  • Day-to-day merchandising of product category pages
  • Assisting with the upload of blogs and other website content


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Magento 2 (desirable, but full training will be provided)
  • Strong ability within Excel using v-lookups and building CSV import sheets
  • Experience working with e-commerce websites, ideally within the personalisation sector
  • Understanding of website metrics and how to interpret data to make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the business
  • Highly organised and methodical approach to work with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, CMS platforms, and SEO best practices
