The Solutions Architect (eCommerce) will spearhead improving our client's online presence across all platforms. In this prominent position, the successful candidate will convert our client's current landscape into a contemporary multi-channel enterprise. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders and various cross-functional teams, including IT and operations, to comprehend their requirements and design effective, scalable, and secure IT systems and architectures. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Required experience includes involvement in web transformation initiatives that encompass eCommerce, loyalty programs, booking & reservations, and CRM. Experience in providing consultancy services, designing and overseeing intricate architectures, and delivering architectural solutions to address business needs and issues. This includes developing, mentoring, and uniting teams through collaborative efforts. Proficient in end-to-end solution architecture for eCommerce, CRM, and digital application delivery. At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect in hospitality, events, retail, or comparable industries (eg, media, travel). Exceptional interpersonal abilities, including communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement. Strong practical implementation expertise in current technologies and methodologies (Cloud, Integrations/APIs) and capable of working at a detailed level within complex technical settings. Proficient in modelling processes, systems, data, and infrastructure using UML, Archimate, or other modelling languages. Familiar with systems architecture development techniques and a broad range of available technologies. Driven self-motivation to navigate a program that balances and fulfils intricate and conflicting demands. Experience with agile methodologies. Background in operating within a multi-channel hospitality or retail context. TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES Build positive relationships with the IT Team. Cultivate strong connections with all members of the broader Business. Engage in meaningful conversations with other members of the Business Systems Team to both provide support and obtain assistance for your role. Foster any necessary relationships with third-party vendors to optimize your interactions with the Business Systems and Service Desk. This role will be done 3 days on site and 2 days WFH.
