Hays Accountancy and Finance are assisting our client to recruit an Economic Appraisal Manager Candidate for their finance team, to help with high-quality financial services, addressing all finance-related issues and providing high-quality financial information.
Your new role Business Case Assessment: Evaluate and approve business cases submitted by third parties in support of funding applications, ensuring they meet best practice guidelines. Compliance: Ensure compliance and other applicable guidance. Post-Project Evaluations: Conduct post-project evaluations to ensure projects are implemented and managed according to agreed SMART objectives. Process Improvement: Keep appraised of current technical guidance on the preparation and assessment of business cases and disseminate this information to colleagues. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage positive stakeholder engagement throughout the appraisal process to encourage collaboration. Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management and internal/external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed Degree or equivalent qualification in business, economics, or a finance-related subject. Three years experience in preparing or reviewing business cases and post-project evaluations. Demonstrable employment experience in preparing, presenting, or reviewing reports to senior management and stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
