Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – Long-Term Supply or Permanent Roles East London M1 Inner / Outer London About the Role Connex Education is now recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking for long-term supply or permanent teaching opportunities starting in September 2025. About the Schools Our partner schools include a wide range of mainstream primary and secondary schools, as well as specialist SEND provisions, across East London. These schools are committed to fostering inclusive and inspiring environments, offering tailored support to ECTs, including mentoring programs, CPD opportunities, and collaborative teaching teams. Whether you want to teach in a close-knit primary school or a bustling secondary academy, we’ll help you find the perfect fit. Assignment Details Start Date: September 2025 or Sooner Contract Type: Long-term supply or Permanent roles. Hours: Typically, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only). Person Specification We are looking for motivated and passionate ECTs who meet the following criteria: Hold or will achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2025. Committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. Eager to develop professionally and build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. Flexible and adaptable, ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of different schools. Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and a passion for making a positive impact in education. Desirable Criteria Experience during teacher training across multiple key stages or educational settings. Interest in or experience working with SEND pupils or within inclusive education environments. Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities or contribute to school-wide initiatives.
