To work as a primary care provider in all aspects of midwifery care. To work flexibly with the team to provide service cover for postnatal ward and transitional care.

Education/ qualifications

Essential

Registered Midwife (NMC) Educated to degree level in relevant subject area

Desirable

FRSH competency implant insertion Evidence of CPD

Experience

Essential

> 1 year post registration clinical experience working as an RM in the UK Completed preceptorship course if applicable Experience of working in all clinical settings

Desirable

Experience in conducting audits.

Skills/knowledge/ abilities

Essential

Able to demonstrate a working knowledge in standard setting and quality management. Ability to apply research to practice IT skills Excellent organisational skills

Desirable

Ability to demonstrate evidence of line management of non-registrant staff i.e. MSWs
