A volunteer is required to join the Exe Co of the BDRA and be responsible for the publication of The Resident, our monthly magazine delivered to all our members. The magazine contains news from the BDRA, articles on local events/happenings of interest to our members, a 'Dates for your Diary' page submitted by local community groups, adverts from local traders, and details of our coach trip organized for our members. You will be required to develop ideas and produce articles of local interest. You will need to attend a committee meeting on the 1st Thursday of the month, 10 times a year. Skills

Media qualifications and/or skills would be an advantage. This may be an opportunity for someone studying for media qualifications to gain hands-on experience. The magazine is produced monthly, requiring you to write/research a couple of articles each month, approximately 4-5 hours a month. Location
