to spearhead the growth and innovation of our content portfolio. As the driving force behind our fast-growing editorial team, you’ll oversee the development of high-quality, peer-reviewed journals, ground-breaking digital content, and impactful client projects. You’ll combine your strategic mindset with a deep understanding of the digital publishing landscape, using your expertise to push the boundaries of what’s possible. In this role, you’ll thrive on crafting content strategies that engage audiences, leveraging SEO best practices, and building meaningful relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and global healthcare clients. From creating innovative content formats like interactive articles to mentoring and inspiring a team of talented editors and writers, you’ll lead the way in delivering world-class medical education. If you’re a natural leader with a passion for excellence, creativity, and collaboration, this role will put you at the heart of a company making a real impact in healthcare. What You’ll Be Doing: Craft and implement a bold, forward-thinking editorial vision and strategy for EMJ/AMJ. Build and grow strong Editorial Boards, ensuring published content meets world-class standards. Drive engagement through innovative formats like interactive articles and digital campaigns. Champion trending topics, SEO best practices, and audience growth strategies. Develop relationships with KOLs, host webinars and discussions, and collaborate with key clients. Lead and inspire a talented editorial team, fostering professional growth and collaboration. Explore new therapeutic areas and medical fields to expand EMJ’s impact. Oversee editorial KPIs and processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistent delivery. What We’re Looking For: 10+ years of editorial leadership experience, preferably in medical publishing or related industries. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of editors, writers, and creatives. Deep knowledge of medical content, with a passion for healthcare and industry innovations. Strong creative and technical writing skills across a variety of formats and audiences. A strategic thinker with a knack for content marketing and digital publishing trends. Excellent communication skills, comfortable hosting events and engaging with clients. A growth mindset, with the drive to innovate and push boundaries in content creation.
