EDS Lead Engineer

What You Will Do: Drive the delivery of vehicle Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS), focusing on cost, weight, quality, and functional performance. Maintain VEPS tracker and set up RMDV for EDS, ensuring all technical requirements are met. Collaborate closely with various business functions including Marketing and Sales, Manufacturing, and Special Vehicles to align EDS strategies. Utilize your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage a high, multitask workload effectively. Communicate clearly across all levels within the company, from production line to director level, presenting technical information with clarity and confidence. Engage in technical problem resolution and support the review of product actions to ensure robust implementation and compatibility with downstream systems. What You Will Bring: Proven EDS technical skills with an understanding of key EDS standards and design requirements. Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with various business functions. Experience within a multi discipline Engineering team, preferably in automotive engineering design, development, and delivery. A working knowledge of System validation processes, Change Control, Product Definition, and Change Management processes. Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and adaptability to company-specific systems (knowledge in WERS, AIMS, RMDV, ECRs is a plus).
